British Cycling Level 2 MTB Leadership Award
British Cycling Level 2 MTB Leadership Award
Assessment
£110.00
The practical assessment consists of a full day mountain bike journey shared with other candidates and your tutor. During the ride each candidate will be assigned to lead their own section. You will be expected to provide a flowing journey whilst demonstrating good leadership and navigational skills. Your group management, leadership and trailside repairs skills will be verified out on the trail using a combination of real situations and simulation based questioning and practical sessions.
We try to create a relaxed and comfortable assessment environment and although it it’s a formal assessment we try to encourage continual development and learning throughout the day. All learners will be provided with personal action plans for future development after the assessment.
A link to the theory paper, that needs to be completed before the practical assessment, will be sent once a place has been booked.
