British Cycling Level 3 MTB Leadership Award

British Cycling Level 3 MTB Leadership Award

The practical assessment consists of two, full days in which mountain bike journeys into remote, technical terrain will be undertaken.
Day 1 will be an assessment of your navigation, leadership and personal skills and fitness in addition to advanced trailside maintenance.
Day 2 will focus on leadership and your ability to provide a flowing journey. Mock clients will join the assessor and other candidates today and enable you to demonstrate that you can effectively assess client ability pre and during the ride and of course, ensure everyone has a fun and safe day out.
There will also be a theory paper which must be completed before the practical assessment.

We try to create a relaxed and comfortable assessment environment and although it its a formal assessment we try to encourage continual development and learning throughout the day. All learners will be provided with personal action plans for future development after the assessment.

This course is run over two days.
